This Independence Day craft is a simple yet meaningful way to honor India’s freedom. Created by Abhishek of Crafted Small, the miniature flag uses saffron, white, and green paper strips arranged horizontally to represent the national tricolor. A blue Ashoka Chakra is drawn or pasted at the center of the white band, completing the iconic design.
The flag is mounted on a stick—made from a straw, skewer, or rolled paper—and can be waved, displayed, or gifted. Lightweight and easy to make, this craft is ideal for kids, classrooms, and festive decorations on 15th August.
